  2. Princess Yachts is back at the show with an announcement that they have a new model to unveil to the public. The 106 Odyssey is the first yacht in a new range from the UK builder. “Odyssey represents the next significant step for Princess Yachts – a return to building yachts above 100 feet, without losing the elegance of design or characteristic seakeeping that define us,” said Princess Yachts CEO Will Green. “The 106 Odyssey is the first in a new family of 30-meter-plus yachts which highlights our vision for a new generation of superyachts that combine exceptional volume with unrivalled comfort, style and attention to detail.”
  3. Tureddi Yachts has many designs that they have released at the show this year. We will focus on the 35-meter X350 which is part of a new line of displacement crossover yachts from them in their X Series as well as the Tureddi Azzurra Linea 36. The X Series is expected to have models at the 35-meter, 45-meter and 55-meter mark and will commence with the smallest in the range of which the first hull has been sold already. Yellow Addition Design is responsible for the design of the yachts. The yard is giving the customer some leeway in terms of how they decide the flow and layout along with some finishes. To this end, there are three themes available: Natural, Modern or Metal.
  4. For the Tureddi Azzurra Linea 36, this yacht is part of a wider Azzurra series that ranges from 36-meters to 50-meters. They all come in under 500 GT but have 'modularity' has part of their design. The model is a collaboration between Van Oossanen Naval Architects using the Fast Displacement Hull Form, Tureddi themselves and Giamboi Designs.
  5. You might have heard of the Spitfire by ARES Yachts before. The 50.5-meter yacht is now actively under construction and appears to be available for purchase as the builder suggests that delivery can be expected 24 months after confirmed purchase. The vessel will have hybrid diesel-electric propulsion. A pair of 290 kW electric motors paired with battery bank storage will ensure silent and emissions-free operation for up to 11 hours when required. There is a five cabin layout with the master suite on the main deck and 4 cabins on the lower deck for guests.
  6. Oceans 47 is something new from a new builder too. Marking their first foray into the market, the company is a blend between Vripack, Wider Yachts and OceanWorld forming what is now known as Oceans Yachts. The first rendering is below of the Oceans 47 which will be built with a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Accommodation has been built-out with six guest staterooms. The owners suite is located on the upper deck.
  7. Concepthull Studio released their 53-meter Luminea design. In a phrase, they describe it simply as “architecture upon water”. A 6 cabin layout provides accommodation for 12 guests in the 720 GT interior. Up to 12 crew members can also be accommodated. 18-knots will be a projected top speed and a economical cruising speed of 14-knots along with a range of around 4,800 nautical miles.
