  1. Cannes Yachting Festival Day 2
Quite a few yachts in the 35 to 45-meter segment are making their debuts at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival. The 35.3-meter "Lalabe", 35.4-meter "Bee", 40.4-meter "Ocean Angel", 40.8-meter "Cada Dia", 42-meter "Big Naan", 44.1-meter "Junos 7", 45-meter "Project T" and 45-meter "Singolare" are all making their debut at the show this year. Most of these have been delivered in 2025. Below we also have some news from the second day.
  2. The 35.3-meter Lalabe was built by Van der Valk with Naval Architecture work by Guido de Groot. Although 35-meters, the vessel boasts a four-deck layout for her owner and family to enjoy. In fact, the yacht was built to "provide three generations of a family with the most relaxing rhythms of life on the water". Onboard there is a 5-cabin layout and plethora of deck space including a large swim platform. The yacht was only delivered in July, 2025.
  3. Bee, the 35.4-meter by ART shipyard was delivered in 2024 but is now making her debut at this year's show. It is believed she is for sale asking €15,250,000. She too has a 5 cabin layout with a master suite on the main deck and the 4 guest cabins on the lower deck. She is an expedition-styled yacht with an exterior by Hydro Tec and modern contemporary interior by Dragoni. Built in steel for the hull and aluminium for the superstructure the yacht has the credentials to carry her guests on long-range cruising.
  4. Ocean Angel is another member of the DOGE 400 model. Yes she is the second hull in this model. Design aLOT has penned the exterior while BURDISSOCAPPONI penned the interior. Onboard you will find 10 guests being slept in a 5 cabin arrangement. There is also space for up to 7 crew. Twin CAT diesels provide her with power for up to 16-knot top speed but she will cruise at around 13-knots and have a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10-knots.
  5. One of the latest Benetti Oasis 40's is the Cada Dia as she is the 20th unit to be launched. Naturally the vessel features the signature Oasis Deck on the stern with the plunge pool incorporated and fold-down wing that form terraces. With a 385 GT interior, there is room for 10 guests in 5 cabins. 7 crew can also be accommodated. As usual, the interior has been the work of Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture.
  6. Big Naan is also a 2025 delivery having been sold in 2023 to her owner. She is the first hull in the new Columbus Crossover 42 series from Columbus Yachts. The yacht's exterior is the work of Hydro Tec while the interior has been done by Hot Lab. Gross Tonnage is around 400 and has 5 cabin layout onboard for 10 guests. Her guests will enjoy the 8.8-meter beam on offer making her Francesco Guida interior light and airy. Twin CAT diesels are onboard to run the vessel to a top speed of 14.5-knots. A range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10-knots can be expected.
  7. Junos 7 is another Benetti at the show but she isn't from the 40-meter Oasis Deck clan. The Giorgio M Cassetta design has been fashioned from GRP materials. In fact, this yacht is the largest GRP model Benetti is currently making. A pair of MAN diesels power this vessel and she has a economical cruising speed of 11-knots offering 4,100 nautical miles at that speed. Junos 7 is at 44.1-meters has enough room to comfortably fit 6 cabins to accommodate up to 12 guests onboard.
  8. 45-meter Project T or Tremenda from Cantiere delle Marche is among the largest yachts at this year's show. Giorgio M Cassetta is responsible for T's design. MAN V12-1400 engines can run this vessel to a top speed of 14.5-knots but she has a cruising range that can permit a 4,000 nautical mile range. A five cabin layout obtains onboard with a large master suite on the forward main deck while the 4 guest cabins are on the lower deck. T was delivered to her owner in March, 2025.
  9. Rounding out yachts in the aforementioned 35 to 45-meter segment making their debuts at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival is the Singalore. She was completed this year by Tankoa Yachts and is a member of the T450 model from this yard. She is a sistership to "GO", which was the previous hull in the line delivered. Giorgio M Cassetta once again features on the exterior but the interior is by Debora Aguiar, an unfamilar name.
  10. In terms of news from Day 2, Cantiere del Pardo unveiled the renderings and details for the new Grand Soleil Plus 80 Performance sailing yacht. The first yacht of the model is currently under construction with the interior nearing completion and the deck to install by the end of next month. Nauta Design was entrusted with both the exterior and interior design work. There is a fixed keel taking the draft of the vessel to 3.95-meters. Launch is anticipated towards the end of 2026.
  11. Azimut unveiled the FLY 82 which is a 25-meter (24.79-meter) flybridge model in the FLY Series and is the first to incorporate the Azimut Deck2Deck™ system that was first seen on the Grande 26M model. Fabio Fantolino is on the interior while Alberto Mancini penned the exterior design. The design again is a departure from the old Azimut styling.
  12. Pearl Yachts just announced at the show a new hybrid flagship model. It is called the Pearl 100 Hybrid it is a RPH design coming in at 29.4-meters which will represent their flagship as well as the first to feature hybrid propulsion. Interestingly, the hybrid propulsion will actually be standard. "Hybrid propulsion is usually an optional add-on, but the price premium makes it uneconomical," explained Iain Smallridge, founder and managing director of Pearl Yachts. "Including it from the outset means we can produce it at a competitive price, while providing a sustainable and efficient owner experience", continued Smallridge.
  13. MAN 2000 horse power engines will be the main engines. The electric motors which are part of the E-Motion hybrid philosophy will grant the vessel the ability to operate in various eco modes as well as silent running for periods. Kelly Hoppen has been tasked with the interior design and three semi-custom themes are available -Indulgence, Modern and Monochrome.
