Hey All, Our boss has just floated the idea of extending our "Antisocial Caribbean Cruise" beyond Trinidad to include the ABC's, thru the canal and to Costa Rica and then possibly Mexico. So, we are in the process of getting all the info together to see whether it is viable and doable. We are a 76ft Horizon with only a 500nm range and 2 full-time crew. Any info or advice of any kind - bring it on! Thanks!
Nice trip, I am sure it wil be fun. Categena is nice and it's pretty safe, Panama is great. At least you will have the weather behind you.
If the boss likes to fish, take a left at Balboa and detour down to Pinas Bay for some of the best billfishing in the hemisphere.
Avoid Avoid the big ship yard in Trinidad. Otherwise most of the cruising ground around the southern carib, is gorgeous, I especially liked Margarita and La Coche. Even got some good windsurfing in while I was there.
places to visit You also want to visit the San Blas archipelago in Panama (Caribbean coasts). Thorwald
