I'm looking for a second stewardess right now, so this email was especially entertaining to me as I wade through a stack of resumes.

    (edited slightly for content)

    PM sent with contact info.
If you don't hire him sight unseen, we will!

He's actually a step up from some day help we brought on last year as a cleaning crew for a few days work.

To think how foolish we were when we started out, I would have taken a job for almost nothing, just for the opportunity to work on a boat and get some experience.

Not to sound like an old fart, but I do miss the old days! It just seems it was alot more fun! To think people actually did this job because they loved being on boats and the ocean.

    Clarification

I didn't mean to be misleading- but this was a completely fictitious email that I received from a friend. While it may display the sentiment of some deckies out there, it was all made up by someone with way too much time on their hands.

Now that's the right attitude. I've got a job for you. You do the job because you 'love being on boats' and I'll take the pay. Perfect partnership we'll have there.;)
