Unfortunately for me (the captain) I have been asked to let my Chef/stew go. The owner is not going to be using the yacht any more so doesn't see the need. So I guess the interior won't get cleaned then????

So if anyone out there needs a good chef or chef/stew who has a B1/B2 then feel free to contact me, I can recommend him. He makes great cocktails and has a good eye for detail when cleaning. The owner always loved his food as did I and the crew.

He is english, but also speaks french and spanish.
    He has an STCW95

contact me via the forum or direct to his email.

I'll post his email later this evening.

    Chris,

I think it speaks volumes that you are trying to place your chef/stew, but you might not be doing him a favor by posting his actual e-mail address. Bots & crawlers harvest any addresses they can find on the net, thus becoming fuel for marketers. They scan for the sequence of an "@" and a "dot" with an extension, such as com, net, biz, gov or country of origin.

I've tweaked the address to save him some inbox aggravation. ;)

    Carl,
Good call on the e-mail address. I never thought of that.
Chris, since the owner is not using the yacht, does that put your position in jeopardy also? Nice to see you trying to help out the chef.

    erm

Could be, but you know what it's like. The owner needs someone on the boat who knows it and I'm the only person who knows the systems inside and out. HOWEVER if he sells the boat will the new owner want me?????

A very stressful time really but not the first occasion I've had this happen.
At least I still have 1 Deck hand.
