Carl - How about YF Mobile?

    I would like to cast my vote for a more mobile friendly version of your site (for me iPad and iPhone friendly) Something along the lines of not having the full color ads with pictures. Why not use the companies name and logo without the picture. Inregards to your excellent reviews the photos could default to a much lower res or have an optional link if the reader has the bandwidth or time to view them. I'm no web designer but I have come across several forum sites (mostly tech) that have a striped down mobile version. A mobile site would be very worth while for me since I spend so much time away from wifi. Also I think those who are using sat comms for Internet would like it as well.

    Sounds interesting. I wasn't sure if the app strips non-iPhone optimized sites on the fly on the phone or does the forum admin have to run the script to enable iPhone/iPad optimization?

    It's a two sided scenario. The Admin (Carl) needs to install, test and tune the script on the forum side, and the iPhone users would need to install the app, or view the site via their browser to use the features of the script.

    It's a fair amount of work to test, then implement, which I know Carl is slammed with other issues at the moment and this isn't something that you just throw in place and hope it works. Not with how extensive, broad, and deep the YF community has become.

    Let's hope Carl and Team have some time in the future to look into it.
