Interesting so few posts regarding Cannes Boat Show. My wife and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in France September 2015. This will be our first (and possibly last) visit to Europe so we're both keen to see the latest and greatest in Cannes while we are there. At this stage our travel plans are flexible but will include the Cannes boat show and boat trip on the Canal du Midi.

We would be interested to read other members experiences.

While in the South of France if possible go to the village of "St Jean Cap ferrat" and have a nice lunch at "Paloma plage"
A great little secluded beach with great views and super friendly service (which is rare in the south of france) No nouveau riche.

    2SALTY,

There are quite a few of us who have lived/worked/ still have family there. I may very well be at the Show on the Mercruiser Zues stand.

    Please keep in touch.

Thanks for your suggestion. This is on our intended track and we have added this to our draft itinerary.

Apparently the Festival de la Plaissance will have its name changed. Will now be known as the Cannes Yachting Festival.
