Word at the dock is that Bertram is announcing a new president this week. Anyone else hear anything about this? I forget the guys name but he was with Hatteras (and another Sport Fish Manufacturer) for some time……
The official news arriving on Monday is that as expected Ferretti Group sold Apreamare back to the founders, Cataldo Aprea and Antonino Pollio. Ferretti Group invested heavily in Apreamare in recent years oppening a state of the are yard with 100 berth marina in 2007. The desire to sell Apreamare has been going on since January last year when the investors owning FG at the time defaulted a payment. No sale for Itama, but I don't know if the production was moved back to Pesaro. As last year FG moved it to Torre Annunziata.
