    Does anyone have an opinion on the Benetti SD yachts. They are a reasonably priced gentleman's yacht which makes me wonder about the quality.

    I know they are not connected to the Benetti Yachts company. I have heard its a distant cousin. I went aboard 80' that was poorly maintained. They are no where close to the true Benetti as reflected by price and demand.

    Still could be a lot of fun!

    Seen several people buying them just to sell not long after. I went to look at their yard in 2004/5 as my employer was looking at them. Not the best quality workmanship then, so i cant give my opinion on them now.
