It may be considered petite relative to Ft. Lauderdale, Miami or Monaco but I can’t recall a more enthusiastic crowd: beautiful people happy for where they are and what they’re doing. As history evolves in the region; my hope is that this event is a view of what’s ahead. Morning Shots – before the official 5:00 opening….
How about the ole DESTINY... This boat has had a major make-over - I try and snap-off interior photos and post a before and after view. If I can find her old archive photos.
It's really great when members care enough about the community to take pics and post them for those of us who can't attend certain shows. Thank you AK! Nice pics.
Small but prolific. Broker/Dealers seem to be pleased with several contracts inked. The show officially ran from the 18th through the 22nd, however most reported significant days 17th, 18th & 23rd – recognizing the day before and that after as the time serious buyers were on site to deal. The 21st and 22nd drew heavy crowds; at times navigating through the masses was impossible. Interesting experience; all seemed pleased.
Hi, Look at the left of the photo in Post No 12, there is a banner that is on a gangway saying Lebanese Navy so I guess it is the real deal.
This is correct. This was the last of three (3) Merv Griffin vessels all named "Griff". Merv's pride and joy until his passing in 2007.
It's the real deal - guns and all... such as they are. I was back at La Marina JK late this morning, but the vessel had since departed, and no chance for a better "shot". I guess duty calls - a Navy never sleeps.
