   Off the US, at 3 miles, three way holding tank valves can switch to overboard. Anyone know the rule in the Bahamas ?

   Same rules in the Bahamas although not enforced. Valves remain open once we clear US waters.
   
   few marinas have working pump outs and unfortunately most popular anchorages like Georgetown don’t have pump out boats. So… all most of the boats anchored there for weeks dump in the anchorages

   That's why very long ago we learned do not get into the water in Marsh Harbor or Green Turtle.
