Hello, I too am new and since I don't have the right to start a new thread I will post here. So, I am a complete beginner in the world of sailing, I went on a yacht a few times this summer and absolutely loved the experience and I have now set a goal to start learning to sail and eventually be able to sail a boat myself. So, what is the best way to go about this? At the moment I'm just preparing myself by doing some research about yachts and yachting terminology etc. Then next summer I plan to take some proper courses. My main question is, how long do you think it should take a complete beginner like myself to learn how to sail and eventually get a license? Thank you...
