    Amevi is going on her seatrials for 4 days; there might be a few of the crew
    who won't feel to good all the time since the weather is rough; rain and fierce wind.

    Anyway, here the railbridge at Dordrecht opens to let her through

    Because of the wind two tugs hold her in position through the bridge.

    It was icecold and a bridge like this is not the best place to stay for an hour or so, so, if you see any movement on any picture; thats why:(

    took her about half an hour to get to the bridge and then about ONE minute to rocket through her, much to my disappointment; had hoped to do some more closeups which was absolutely impossible at the speed she raced by:D

    strange thing; lots of friendly people on the ship waving to me and quite a lot taking pictures of me?!? (hey, there's that fool with the camera again!)

    I work in the building on the back with the white pillars and live right behind it, so, ideal terrain here for the lazy ************:rolleyes:

    I can't be mad at you for standing in freezing rain. Amevi is one the most eagerly anticipated launches in years. The pics have been re-sized.

    Thanks Erik! :)

    We strive to keep pics under 640 pixels wide. This eliminates side-scrolling for most viewers. If I put a limit on sizes, some newbies might get frustrated, so I leave the accepted size larger. Truthfully, it's faster for me to re-size them, then to walk someone through P-Shop.

    Still, no worries Erik. We're thankful that you braved the cold to bring us images of Amevi. Thanks again!

    i'll try to remember the 640:)
    Its not so much the lack off p-shop knowledge ( i used to dtp local newspapers and such) but more a VERY lazy and selective memory:D

    We published the GA's originally, but the new owner requested privacy and we immediately removed them, as per Oceanco's request.

    thanks guys, feel kinda privileged to live in this area;
    the Millenium yacht t.w.i.n.e. was build here, at Slob Papendrecht they're building Feadship hulls and its only getting better with the performance Oceanco is putting down:)
