AlumerciA completes a circumnavigation of South America having a great time in the process. When you get that far south you cannot go past without rounding the horn so on a typical day (gales and rough seas) Alumercia rounds in style with cheers from the guests and crew. A quick trip started in Panama on Jan 1 visiting the ports of puerto Montt, Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, Porto Williams, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Forteleza and Belem in the Amazon river. Discovery of some amazing cruising areas where the crew and owners decided are worth a return trip. The Canals of Chile and the Amazon river were definetely the highlights. In three months she completed 12,000 miles and is now having a rest in St Maarten before heading north and eventually back to Heesen for a spruceup.
