so here we go. my girlfriend's dad has the aforementioned boat. he has put the transducer through the hull, and the wire is patiently waiting in the engine compartment. the mount is all set on the bridge. i'm trying to figure out how to connect point a to point b. i do not see an open chase from behind the fuse panel. so that leads me to assume the only way to fish the wiring is to remove the panel to the left of the sliding door. cheers, drew
You could use an existing wire from the bridge. Disconnect it at the bridge, pull it through to the engine room with a chase string. Then just pull it back with your new wire and another chase for the future.
my only problem with cutting a wire and pulling it through, is that i would almost guarantee that they are zip tied in bundles. if you think that is not a valid thought please let me know. thanks for your input.
