Need to know Pitch, Diameter, Blade count, brand & style, material, clearance from the hull and how far up the shaft is the zinc if so fitted. The last is an issue I have addressed on several boats with cavitation issues, the shaft zinc being too close to the prop.

I have seen a lot of issues with Michigan/Federal wheels on 30+ knot SF's. Some companies have switched to Veems and the problem with prop burn stopped. It seems to be mostly a clearance issue with the props being too close to the hull, from what I have seen. More info would be nice. I did see a set on a new boat with a 100 hours with A LOT of prop burn to what looked like it was a structural issue with the propellor at that point.
