  1. 5 Yachts To See At 2023 FLIBS
Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) are finished for this year and now it is time to turn our attention to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) which opens October 25th running through to the 29th. Known as the world's largest in-water boat show, there are some stellar yachts expected to be on display that our readers may be interested in. First on the list would be the 64-meter (63.8-meter) "Atomic" built by Viareggio Super Yachts in 2020. The exterior is by Espen Oeino with an interior by Franck Darnet Design. Onboard she can sleep twelve guests in six cabins. There are three lower deck guest cabins, two main deck VIP-grade cabins and a full-width master cabin on the main deck as well. Atomic is available for purchase asking $63,000,000.
  2. Next on this list of interest is the 65.2-meter superyacht "Double Down" (ex. "Lady Lau"/"Lady Anne Magee II") that vessel was built in 2010 by Codecasa Yachts. Her exterior was done in-house by the yard while the interior is the work of Della Role Design. On the interior there is approximately 1,278 GT of internal volume and although built in 2010, the yacht has had a few refits since then. There was one executed in 2016, 2019 and 2023. Along the way the original Della Role interior was updated by designers like Evan K. Marshall and Susanne Skaf. This yacht boasts a 9 cabins layout for guests which means she can carry 18 to 20 guests. Double Down is asking $31,000,000.
  3. The Trinity Yachts "Unbridled" will also be at this year's show. At 58.2-meters she is a decently sized yacht with an exterior by Geoff Van Aller and an interior by Patrick Knowles. Her interior boasting around 803 GT can sleep up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. There is a 10.9-meter beam and a draft of 3-meters. She was built in 2009 and last had a substantial refit in 2019. She is asking $24,950,000.
  4. Next is a 55-meter Benetti called "Next Chapter" (ex. "Amnesia", "Altitude", "Cakewalk", "Lady Michelle" ) built in 2003 and last refitted in 2022. She carries twelve guests in six cabins along with up to 14 crew and has a 909 GT interior volume. Stefano Natucci was responsible for the exterior and interior design of Next Chapter. 180.5-feet long, 34-feet wide and a 10-foot draft allows her to access most locations around the world. Top speed is in the region of 16-knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12-knots. She is asking $19,900,000.
  5. While she may not be as large as previously-mentioned yachts, "Blue Ice" is certainly a unique looking vessel. At 41.2-meters and built by Baglietto in 1999 to a design by Aldo Cichero she is the oldest yacht on this list. She is last known to have a refit in 2021 and also back in 2016. Since then her silver gray exterior was changed to the black and grey we know today. Blue Ice can carry 10 guests in 5 cabins. Dual MTU 12V 4000 M90 engines can get the yacht near 29-knots with a range of just about 1,000 nautical miles at 12-knots. The yacht is asking $4,299,000.
