Had the pleasure of reviewing Z in Ft. Lauderdale yesterday for a long time friend. She was represented by Judy Walman and skippered by Paul Hendrix. Both very competent and efficient. The boat showed very well for her years and sailed much better in light air than anyone in our party anticipated. I wish they still built them in the Mason fashion today. Z is almost 30 years old and her bones are still solid, the joinery tight and decks sound. New build cost to replace her in like kind would be astronomical. Anyway thank you to everyone involved for a very pleasant day aboard a well-kept yacht. Cheers, Doc.
