    Looking for input on handling and ride on the series 2 43 hull.

    I have had the identical year/model for almost 10 years. Love the boat..... Except in big-ish following or quartering seas. It's not unsafe at 20 knots in a quartering sea but it's not super comfortable. It's is day and night if you can run at 23 knots with no tabs in those conditions....much better. She loves to have her bow high anytime seas are coming from behind. Head seas from any direction (straight on/port bow/stbd bow) are just fine if you have a good bridge enclosure and salon windows that don't leak! Stay home when it gets sloppy and you'll have a great time on the 43.

    I think they all perform better with out a tender on the bow or the lightest tender you can stand.
