28' Chris Craft Woody Purchase

    My dad has a freind that has a boat that we want to buy. My dad went and looked at it and it his freind said it was a 28 foot Chris Craft in the 50's or 60's. It doesn't have a trailer so we are going to have to find one...if you can tow it, which is one of my questions. My dad said it had (what it looked like) a small block chevy. He said it looks kind of like this:

    or some thing like that. Could any of you guys help out? I hope you can trailer it, but everything seems to be up in the air. Any help would be appreciated.

    THe art of trailering.

    Well, it just needs to be 8.5' or less to trailer without special permits.
    Above 11' and it'll need flag cars front and rear.
    YOu might be ok with a 28', not sure.
