replacing my macerator pump on the fishbox. ordered and received the new pump although the 1" discharge outlet is facing left when mounted which is the wrong direction for my hose connection. very tight area. can the nuts be removed on the pump so the pump body can be turned around so the discharge is facing right?
You could turn the pump around 180 degrees and mount it upside down and get the same direction. It should be ok to remove the nuts and mount the pump body 180 degrees if it is the same pump I am thinking of. The shaft turns the same direction regardless.
Hi, CSkipR- I did a bot of googling and found that all images of these pumps show the outlet going off to the left when viewed from the front.
