Hi, This is Martin from South Korea. I have an Azimut 58 Fly(2009) and I need to change the props this time. It will be not hard to check the spec. of the props if the boat is on the ground, the crane will lift it after two weeks. The problem is that I have only one or two weeks for repair including replacing the props. It might be too late if I check and place the order at that time, so it seems necessary to act before the crane comes. Boat: Azimu 58 Fly Year: 2009 Engine: MAN R-6 800(twin) Shaft diameter: 70mm Prop type: 4 blade I know it's not enough to find the suitable props, but I hope that someone has some information(maybe an owner who has the same boat with same experience). Thanks for reading.
How about calling azimut? They should have the exact prop specs and probably have a set of props in stock.
Hi Capt J, thank you for your advice. I'm ashamed to say that the boat market(all 'boat things') in Korea is not so active. In most case the owners have to solve the problem by themselves. I already tried to contact the Azimut head office directly, but they turned the inquiry to the domestic dealer. Based on my experience, this guy is not so helpful and it will take at least one month to get a simple information(it's embarrassed, but this poor environment makes the owners study hard about their boat). Thanks again for your advice.
AFAIK Azimut use Radice props. I have used them a couple of times and they have been efficient in delivering new props in the past. A good diver should also be able to change your props in the sea. https://www.elicheradice.com/
