I purchased the above boat six months ago, my second of this size and model. My problem and question is how to reduce the sound of the A/C, Heat/ compressors (two) . This boat has both units mounter in the engine room on a bracket which is bolted into the bulkhead of the master suite forward of the starboard Cat engines.
So when the compressors do their thing the noise of the compressors charging up and then discharging on the down cycles (best description I can give of their function) not only transfers this noise through the boat but the vibration of the mounting bracket in the engine shakes the master suite heat wall.
Did not have this problem with my 2004 Horizon, but they were mounted at the entrance to the engine room away from any bulkhead.
Any suggestions to save this problem? My AC guy who looked at said maybe some type of white noise may reduce the awareness. Not a sound problem IMHO.
    Thank YOU
