2001 48' Offshore Yacht..?

    I presently own a 42' Bertram Sportsfish and looking into getting a 2001 48' Offshore Yacht, looking for some feedback on sea ability, fuel burn, any known problems with this model etc

    A good friend was the manager of the Bertram dealership in SoCal during the 80s - 90s, so he had plenty of experience with them as well as other larger vessels. He did a delivery trip from Seattle to Alaska on a 48' Offshore (Sedan Model) and raved about its' seakeeping abilities in some decent Alaskan conditions. At speeds under 17 knots she just kept her bow proud and ate up the miles.
