First boat and trying to winterize the water system I never used. The water pressure pump comes on but no water or gurgling comes out. The harbor assures me they filled the water tank. Disconnected both hoses from the water pump and very little if nothing comes out. Please advise, cold weather is approaching.
There could be a crimped or blocked hose but that's unlikely. Fill your water tank so you're sure it's full. There's a deck fitting. If one of those two hoses was the hose in from the water tank reconnect it and see what pumps. Check your expansion tank. If nothing at that point, you need a new pump. You could probably rebuild it, but I'd say replace. BTW, when you get the boat back in the Spring, fill the tank, empty it, then fill about 1/4 and empty a few more times.
