    Has anyone have any thoughts on the 1970 Hateras 45 with 871 n's
    Nice boat lower hours
    Is there any red flags to look for?
    West coast boat

    Its heavy and slow by today's standards. Good quality US built with a dated but Classic profile. It's not worth much. If you like the boat and it will fit your requirements, it would be tough to go wrong.

    Very well built but slow with the naturals. It should plane. Just.

    like most Hatteras of that vintage the only thing to watch out for is soft balsa core on the foredeck and FB. Tanks are fiberglass and bullet proof. Electrical will be dated but simple and easy to maintain
