One of the latest developments at Vicem Yachts is the Vicem 67 Cruiser. The yard recently released more details about this craft. It will be built using the same cold molded mahogany technology they have been using for more than twenty years. High load areas of the yacht are reinforced with carbon fiber. Turkish builder Vicem Yachts successfully sold a Vicem 65 Classic to an American owner. The owner said he wanted something different from what everybody else had. Vicem says that the owner has worked with the in-house designers at the yard to create the boat of his dreams. Anyone have insight into build quality, reputation for after purchase customer support, etc.?

Also, the Vicems are epoxy sealed, cold molded mahogany - any thoughts?

I got a nice look at both the 75 Classic Flybridge and the 78 Cruiser after the show and was pretty impressed with what I saw but am not familiar w/ anyone actually owning one or having hands on experience.

The new Vicem 35-meter is a step down in size from the widely awaited Vicem 46-meter. The Turkish builder has used the same design team for the 35-meter as the 46-meter. Therefore, Mulder Design and Ken Freivokh are the principle designers on this build. Naval architecture is by Mulder and interior design by Ken Freivokh.
