Hi folks: newbie here.

I'm working on a project involving the original Fexas 44' Lace, and was trying to track down the approximate original sales pricing. I know these were done on a custom basis by the Cheoy Lee yard, but I was hoping to get a ballpark on the original new cost of a GM-powered flybridge model.

I've Googled the topic so much, there's smoke coming from my laptop, so I thought I'd check w/ the experts.

Thanks!

As most of you know, Tom Fexas, designer extraordinaire, passed away in November. Michael Joyce of Hargrave Yachts, held a tribute to Tom on the docks of the Miami Boat Show on Friday. Mr. Joyce invited Tom's wife, Regina, to attend, and held the ceremony from the cockpit of a Midnight Lace, with attendees standing shoulder to shoulder on the dock. A toast was given with those in attendance saluting Tom with a glass of champagne. Many of us have our favorite "Fexas designed" yacht,...

I am looking at a 44 Midnight Lace, built in 1985, and the hull was made by Cheoy Lee Goldenwave Shipyards. Some of the hulls made by them are solid fiberglass and I am wondering if anyone knows if the hull on a Midnight Lace is a cored hull or solid fiberglass? Thanks!
