Yeah, Whoo Hoo.:( pushed my clocks forward (lost an hours sleep), then reset a chainlink fence that fell, cut up a tree that fell and I have three leaners that I'll have to pay to have taken down (unless I want to end up on one of those video shows). Could be worse though. I understand that yesterday's nor'easter killed 3 here on LI. I'm ready for sunshine and bikinis.;) Yeah, I'm grumpy.:D

hey lars, my parents have been to sweden last week and they were stunned by the masses of snow, they said there was more snow they've ever seen, even the snow disaster of 79' wasn't that heavy :D (for all who don't know this disaster: that was the worst snow-disaster until today here in northern germany)

    It's back again

It is April tomorrow, so Northern Europe decides to have a mini Winterfest.

Snow, gales and ice just in time for the Easter weekend. As an added bonus the Moon is giving us a full Spring tide (around 35 foot here in Guernsey).

I live on a mile long bay with a beautiful beach all the way along, most of this is now in the road.

I didn't cycle along the coast road this morning for some reason.

And here I thought you were a tough guy. I expected to see you out in a canoe in some of those shots. Beautiful spring day you're having.

The canoe was almost needed in the office this morning, 2 inchs more and my steel toecap Guccis may have got soggy. :)

Northern Ireland and Scotland got worst hit with the snow, though some of the local Girl Guides were on camp in Devon and got hyperthermia out on the Moors in the 'warm' southwest of England.

We just finished our wettest March on record with a nor'easter last week and 8 inches of rain yesterday. Doesn't seem so bad now after seeing your pics.
Have faith, summer IS coming I hear.:)

Around my place the spring is near, it is more snow and ice further out in the archipelago. Here is a series of pictures demonstrating the zoom of my little Canon G9 and a close up on some "snow drops".
