You're funny PB. It's a big bayliner, silly. But you knew that already. ;)

In case you wanted to know the other names of the vessels in that 50-meter series so far, off the top of my head they are, "Vango", "Evviva", "My Girl", "SeaQuest", "Lady Kathryn IV", "Harmony".

    Thanks.
A few I knew of prior. And one in particular I've actually spent time on. (Lady Kathryn IV). Thanks again for the info. Don't know why I was pulling a blank earlier.

PB, that one photo is slightly blurry as I had already packed away the tripod when walking to the car and came across her, so I held the camera as best I could. Evviva is one good looking yacht.

    Rocky,
yes you definitely need a tripod. I shot these fairly late so there are less people on the floating docks. For these, I was out until midnight walking the entire brokerage show along Collins Ave. Carl and I had dinner and he started with me but it soon got close to his bedtime. lol

I'll post that later on tonight (jumping on a plane right now).
Perhaps we'll leave it open to captions.

I love your mast shot of "Evviva". It shows in detail, the complexity and subsequent detailing of that mast. Lots of gear up there! The silver-grey helps to bring it out even more as well.

Excellent photos Tom, as always. Even though I'm here in Ft Lauderdale, with one thing and another, customers and boats coming and going, I didn't make it to Miami for this Show. Your photos always seem to hit the highlights. Thanks for sharing them with us.

BTW, why was that red Ferrari looking so happy to see you? Or was it Carl that she was smiling at?

If the Ferrari was smiling, the Lambo must have been upset then!;)

Perhaps it's not easy being green. :)

Green? whether you are playing on words I do not know but there is nothing green about a sports car such as that. Maybe they do share a commonality with the yachts on display, gas guzzlers! Only green in colour or envy!

The in water show at the Marriott/Sea Isle marina was borderline pathetic, a shadow of what it once was. Even with the sailboat show moved from bayside to this location, it was still half empty. Shame.

Remember the economic environment that the show is operating in...

I understand, it's because of these conditions that I think both the Collins show and the NMMA international show can not coexist any longer.

Great pics. Thanks. It's nice to see what I missed. (oh the agony)

Post # 14 pic 4, the runabout with the forward sloping transom. What a beauty. Who is the builder? I can't make out the name that I see on the port side.

Nice Photos Captain Tom. But where ae all the "people watching" photos you took on the dock Friday afternoon?
BTW, I guess I missed "High Rolla" CC flashing $$$ at the Fountain Bleau on Thursday afternoon. He must have changed the venue after he invited me.

We were there from about 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Fortunately, we only had a couple of drinks before realizing a margarita was $22 freakin' dollars and a beer was about $10 bucks. We hightailed it over to Carrabbas for a bite. FB is off the list for future drinks. That's ridiculous!

Good to see you at the show MB.
