Does anyone have any information or history on Shaw Boats Inc. or Shaw Yachts?

I understand that they may have finished one or two Westport yachts under the Shaw name.

Who were they, what became of the organization and how long and when did they operate?

    Thanks...

Shaw was on the North side of Gray's Harbor, Wa.,

In a little town named Hoquiam.

They went down for the very last time in '98-'99.

They had borrowed a very large amount of state money for the facility.

Westport picked up the facility, which was lying dead, in the early 2000's

And dedicated it to the WP 112', which are produced there to this day.

Dang it, there is just this thing about American workers

Building American boats, and competing successfully on the world market.

    I'll shut up now.
