Around April / May I arrive from Los Angeles (touch wood) in 50' Frers; I need to prepare myself - 2 weeks - for transoceanic crossing to Holland or France, I am looking for a place where I can safely arrange my passage as I might go single.

    Suggestions are most welcome

I admit whilst researching my trip I become less and less enthousiastic by the idea going through the Panama canal.
With my last boat that I just sold because she was to big to single hand her, I would have laughed at anybody. But this new boat is different cook. And I do not gain anything if she gets damaged on the way down. So I am looking for alternative routes that will bring me away from the Hurricane invested-area of the Caribbean,
Most probably I let her bring by roadtransport to the eastcoast and rig her and can
look afterwards for the right time to cross over.

    Its all in a game....
