HI..Ivan . Was just lookig at the CC roamer area .... and was wondering about the one for sale in DC. Is it still for sale?. Did you personaly go look at all those boats? please reply.. I
Eric These number don't look like Aluminum since aluminum hulls are either 16xx in 1963 or 17xx in 1964 so those hull should be recoded as steel coverlife is definitly a steel and the number should be RXB(not P) 36 155 Jusr Roaming is a stell I know the boat and RXB 36 140 is also a steel The only one I am not sure about is "dream catcher" since there is no number do you have picture that could help identify if it is AL?? Eric thank you for trying to help Ivan
Sorry for the delay Yes I have seen it in person attached few pics quite a lot of work but it is an AL ! Ivan
Eric After investgation "Dream Catcher" ihas a small winsow on the front of the cabin which makes her a 1962 in 1962 therewas no AL produced in 36' (27' vere AL in 1962) Unfortunately this is also a Steel. Now your picture the dark blue registered MC Q912 is an Aluminum Do you have any way of finding this hull number?? Does anyone Know this boat? Ivan
Al Roamer Hi, I have a 36 ft. 1964/1965 Roamer aluminum hull in original boat house on Mississippi river in LaCrosse, WI
hi jeromeo it is a very interesting unit. can you send us the pics and the hull number (it is on the side of the starboard engine hatch) plus a descriotio of the condition would be hekofull thanks Ivan
I have been working on an old Chris Craft. its steel, but its hull number is close to several mentioned here, my boat is RXB 32-139. A slightly smaller, steel version of the boats mentioned here.
I have the little sister, a 27 custom comet, fully restored, for sale in Northwestern Ohio. I hate sell her but, since we've recently purchased a 38 Regal Sedan, There is more than enough "non ferrous" in our life.
Ownership Change The boat referenced here as Lucky 13 in Knovxille, TN has changed owners and is now the RAHRUE. Still in Knoxville, has new bottom and hull paint. Very well maintained and artfully restored. There is a 36' 1963 Aluminum Roamer Riveria at the same dock in Knoxville, needs a lot of work but still very sea worthy. Just needs a loving owner.
1963 Riviera 6S 36 ft. RXP36-1609 I purchased RXP 36-1609 last July in South Bend, IN. It Now resides in Cape May , NJ I have lots of questions for this group.
Update: A friend and I bought the "Mary Clair" last month here in Knoxville, TN. She's a 1963 36' Roamer Riviera with an Aluminum hull that is in great condition. The engines have not run for at least 10 years- until last week. Now they both purr like a lion! We are pulling her out soon for a full renovation!
