Spotted in Ft. Lauderdale and much in need of some Naval Jelly, this 1961 steel-hull Vospers was ahead of the design curve for its time.
She would be Phil Rhodes design #c703 and dated 1959. Original name was IVARA and she was built for a John Loudon. She seems to be the first of about 5, 100'+ motoryacht designs by the Rhodes office between 59 and 1969. All the best, Tad.
As of 15 Jan 2017 she was purchased by Capt. Tod Reincke, at the time I purchased her She was named Lady Claudia. Now named BETH She has been extensively re-fit by the previous owners over 10 year period and then by me and my crew in preparation for her trip home , On 6 March 2018 we started the voyage back to California. On 16 May 2018 we arrived at her permanent home in Humboldt Bay California at Woodley island Marina . She will have the remainder of her refit completed by my boat yard Reincke Marine over the next year then cruised extensively in the Pacific Northwest.
