We're in the process of an electronics upgrade on a Broward 106 and I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions for a good single screen integrated display.
We also have one of the earlier KVH units and need to trash and replace that so any advice on a good cost effective system would be welcome
    Thanks

I like the Furuno Navnet for an all around single screen unit that has a great radar, chartplotter and fishfinder. Although on that size you could also go with a computer/blackbox with Nobletec chartplotting software, jrc radar and such but the flybridge end of it gets dicey keeping it all waterproof. I would probably go navnet personally

    Thanks Capt j
Nobletec was the keyword I was missing. This was also recommended by an owner I met in Isla Mujeres who was also an electronics expert and successful inventor .
Our flybridge is more of a Tuna-tower type setup, so is used only for docking and un-docking so thats not an issue.
We have a lot of Furuno stuff at present and it proved solid all the way from Freeport GB to La Paz Mex.

If you want the big boat look in a multifunction go 3D Navnet Black Box.
Then you can have the size screen you want. If you want a pair of radars, go dual free standing radar, manufacturer's screen or BB for matching.

Thanks Hawk. Will pass on all these to the owner. Unfortunately always the final obstacle
