Does anybody have info on this. I heard that several NW yards have stopped production over the past several months.

I recieved an e-mail from Dan Fritz, the president of Queenship. He was interested in advertising on YachtForums.

    Queenship is back!

I recently learned that Queenship has been purchased and will be starting production shortly. I spoke to them and they have some outstanding enhancements planned for the product line. I had previously seen their facility and it's one of the best in the business.

That's good news. They made a quality product. Do you know if they will be producing the same designs they did before or will they be building new designs?

I understand they will still be building the Admiralty, Beretta and Caribe. I hear they have an Admiralty almost complete.

This is correct! Queenship has been aquired by WorldSpan, a company with a solid financial base that specializes in investing in marine businesses. I had the priviledge of meeting with Dan Fritz and Jim Hawkins last week. Queenship's new direction is very exciting. They have brought together a wealth of experience and talent, coupled with the financial resources to become stonger than ever before.

We'll have the complete story featured on the front page of YachtForums in the next few days. Stay tuned...
