    Vagabond,

This is the internet, not a corkboard at the marina office.

    engines

Engines need cleaning up and maybe repainting, but they work very well. 2700 hours, just broke in for diesels sort of.

    Hi

Do you still have the Roamer? Are the diesels in any kind of decent shape? I am considering getting a 35 ft Roamer and it has twin 350's in her now, but I would much rather have diesels, are the tranny's there still, I am very curious, Briar Patch

diesels are 6v53 ran very well till we pulled her out. I have one brand new rebuilt tranny {210:1} cost 2700. it is not installed yet and the factory rebuilder says the warrenty will go with its new owner. 90 days from installation, not a bad deal. the other tranny stills works but i would have it cleaned and refreshed anyway, it would not be as much since it does not need new gears like the oother one.

She is in Hacks point Maryland, and we start cutting it up next week.

Keep in mind that the 35' Roamer has galvanized steel fuel tanks. Okay for gas engines. If you refit the boat with diesel engines you will also have to replace the fuel tanks because galvanized tanks and diesel fuel doesn't mix.

I'd be interested in diesel running gear. Are you interested in pricing engines, transmission props and shafts as a package?

I would be really interested in the large vent covers that are mounted on the toe rail. Also, the bow chocks if they would work on my 1970 Regal Roamer.
