   I'm having a really hard tim locatng a replacement fuel pump for my 1983 Catalina 350. It has the 235 hp Corvette-based engines, and uses Carter components.
   
   Anybody else had this probelm and found a solution?

   Is it an electric or mechanical pump?
   
   The only way might be to change to a different make of pump that has the same performance as the one you need to replace.
