Yes they are locked so that they wouldn't be spammed with irrelevant topics or definitions I assume and yes it doesn't have in Bulbous bow....that is why I said maybe Carl should look into this...

I like the Pine deck. Very nice. The rendering is quite amazing.

    Stunning design.

far nicer than any of the top 50 super yachts.

It manages to look compact and sleek whilst obviously remaining a good size.

    Thanks folks.
I don't know what it is but this yacht really looks perfect (the real one). I love its shape (true lady). Its simple but impressive. It was really fun to model and render it. I also made a 3d virtual model of it where i can walk inside the yacht and thats fun :)

    Wait a second....
Is this some kind of joke? It's no April fools is it?
You did the 3D renderings on the fly with little to no marine / yachting / naval architect experience basically from the seat of your pants from a scattered yacht images around the

Then... YOU BUILT IT to scale?!??!

Honestly, I mean no offense, but you're asking what the bow / bulb is on a hull in a thread, and then you (let me guess, in your spare time) just whip a model together? I don't know you from Adam, but Kid, you've got some kind of raw talent!

    Amazing.

I was wondering if it was 3d printed on card or something, that is amazing!

Guys, he's not holding a real model, that's a pretty good 3D rendering put together with Photoshop. He wrote:

So that what you see in the picture it's actually what he wants it to become...

By the way, great job! Fooled all of us :)

Was not trying to fool you folks :) . I must be more careful with next posts.
As Jabor commented, this is what i want to build during the next summer.
However the image is not photoshop its rendered direct over the picture and the person is my friend who is "holding" the yacht.

    Relax

    Calm down, chaps !!!

Apache is very skilled, but as he said, its a hobby. It would have taken a great deal of time, probably more than a commercial project would justify spending.

Hobbies are like that, you don't mind taking time.

Next, Apache does know a lot about ships because he is a good observer and sees all the detail. He may not know the names, but thats very secondary to the task.

Finally, Apache will tell you that 3D modelling is imprecise. It can be accurate to a fraction of a millimeter, but its not necessary because the eye doesn't register fine detail providing the images look right. In fact, often you have to exaggerate fine details like window frames or handrails to have them show up.

Its like a stage-set, its not necessary to be correct, just look as if you are.

BTW did you know that all the model cars you played with as a child were 20% wider than they should have been? Its an optical illusion.

Great piece of work. I hope that its encouraged a few more people to have a try at this fantastic way of spying out the future.

And although Cinema is expensive, don't be put off. There are lots of alternatives. But please, please, please, start with a simpler example!! In fact, start with something really easy like a sat-com dome and work your way from there.
