OK, let's start with the basics. You don't usually go strolling down the dock in bathrobe & slippers. Just grab your shave kit and drop your towel under your arm. ;) Most better marinas have fairly nice facilities.

My Mother in Law has an AEG Princess Lavamat which is now over 30 yrs old, two parts have failed- the plastic hose adaptor when moving house which I broke and the front door gasket, I got a hew fitting for the first problem and I rotated the door seal 180 deg for the second till I could get a new one.

I specify Miele gear when getting the chance as these are almost indestructible in all models home and professional.

I don't know if that would be a bad thing, having you clothes sucked bone dry in the blink of an eye might be what you want in a dryer.

Hatteras installed mine by taking out the stbd. forward bunk. Works very well and allowed other nice improvements one being a full size (24") Kitchen Aid oven.

    Splendid laundry equipment

Where can I find info on the Splendid laundry machines? do you know a website? Our problem seems to be the depth of a place to put them on the 43' Hatteras Motor Yacht. Any help appreciated.

that's where i bought mine from, price was the best i could find, shipped on time, although the shipping was a little higher than originally quoted.

The splendid was the only one i could find which would fit down the stairs on my 53 and thru the forward SR door without taking any trim, doors, etc... the specs are on the site.

What are the dimensions of the closet you are planning on using?
