    Hello,
    Here's a few pics of my 1966 Baglietto 16M #89
    This old wood girl is still a head turner and a blast underway.
    You don't run into many Bagliettos old or new here in SoCal.
    Wondering if any one out there has photos of early Bagliettos?

    Hi Murph and welcome to YF!

    Wood is good and vintage timber is even better. Thank you for posting to the Classic and Antique forum. For the interim, I've moved the thread to the General Discussion forum. A few more people follow this section and hopefully we'll find a few more Bagliettos in the bunch.

    ... that is one beautiful classic. I saw this one in the marina dock at Villefranche a few years ago- still dream about owning one, one day.

    Hi Murph, I'm a great fan of the series 'Columbo'. One episode, 'Dead Weight' (1971) had a Baglietto in a starring role...I could be wrong, but yours looks like the exact one (since your post, I'm looking at the episode on screen right now) they used.
    Heres a wee pic from a Columbo site, I'm off googling for more.

    Wow! I'm impressed, I thought there were just two of us left on the planet that knew about the 16M in the Columbo episode!

    That is not my boat in the episode but a sister ship to mine that is now in Seattle and is owned by the same friend with the Maiorca in the above photos. Yes, he has two vintage Bagliettos. He's more delusional than I am!

    I want to ship my Baglietto ("PIACERE") back to its homeland

    We have a 1966 Vintage 16.5 Meter Baglietto.....completely restored and beautiful, inside and out.

    We currently moor in Channel Islands, Ca. but are considering shipping her back to Italy, to keep there permanently, as our "Italian Seaside Villa..."

    Any thoughts, ideas, information?

    Any input regarding:

    Possible Moorings, Shipping companies, etc. greatly appreciated.

    Hey Stranger how have you been?
    Send me a PM.
    I will put you in touch with my friend that recently shipped his Mairoca from Italy to Seattle. (see pictures of transit earlier in this thread) He should be able to give you the low down.
    It would probably be cheaper in the long run to just purchase one of the 16Ms already in Italy like the beautiful Roberta (with twin 12v71s)
