Along the City Docks, this is Feadship's "Golden Rule" (former Excellence, I think?), standing as a testament to all that is traditional and good in yacht design...

Across the ditch, hiding down a canal is this Diamond in the Rough, a DeBirs...

Down yet another of Lauderdale's 100's of canals, this Azimut looks lonely and unused. I think this was their 100' model...?

On the outside dock of Sunrise Harbor, Oceanfast's 174' "Sea Bowld" stood ready to defend the fleet...

And what was Sea Bowld defending? A threat from this ominous, yet sinister looking intruder; the Sunseeker "Shadow"...

And that's a wrap on YF's Thanksgiving 2008 festivities. Now, where are those left overs...?

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate the holiday! YF's Chuck Gnaegy is coming over to have dinner with us, then if the weather allows, we might take a cruise up to the Port of Palm Beach. If so, I'll post a few pics. Hope everyone has a festive, stuffed beyond belief, holiday. :)

    Greetings,
I third the best Thanksgiving wishes to all. Us Canadians celibrated Thanksgiving this year on Oct.12. I guess our Pilgrims landed before your Pilgrims. Well, it was Vikings actualy. THEIR arrival is estimated to be about 1001 AD. Just a bit before that Italian guy.

Scrolling this thread (annual resurrection) with all the warm water boats, sun, and shorts reminds me we need to get down to the boat.

Case in point, I just finished staking the driveway for the snow plow in preparation for our first snow fall.

Let it snow! Then get me south after Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Be safe, enjoy! Drink good wine. Share and fulfill the experience with good times, friends, and build memories.

On this, the one day each year that carbs are legal, I intend to push aside the Turkey and grab the pumpkin pie. After devouring more than a pilgrim's share, I'm gonna turn on Punkin' Chunkin' with the Myth Buster brothers and examine the art of the splat. (Discovery Channel at 8:00 PM EST)

To those on YF who celebrate the day of the feathered feast, Happy Thanksgiving! :)
