Does anyone have information on the support boat to LADY LOLA, LADY LOLA SHADOW.

I am actually looking to find a yacht similar to this for conversion to utilize for the same purpose as the SHADOW, support boat and helicopter storage. If anyone has information as to where these can be found please shoot me a private message.

SHADOW is the ex: 'FLOYD TIDE' - a 186' Tidewater Offshore supply boat. Something similar that can be converted would be ideal.

    Thanks in advance.

    Internet Searches

Just do an internet search with "offshore supply vessel for sale" in the search string, and you will come up with lotsa results like this one:

    190 ft supply vessel

She is for sale. I saw it in Showboats International - November - Allied Richard Bertram brokerage ad.

    about Shadows

This utmost sensible idea of extended practicability of any yacht was started off by the Golden Fleet's "Golden Shadow", designed by Martin Francis (with the then inhouse designer Espen Oino).
It makes much more sense to have a 50+50m than to have one 100m yacht.
I'm quite sure that the idea will rapidly catch on since there's a lot of conversion ships lying idle around the globe and a functional refit comes nowhere near the additional cost for a bigger yacht.
Separation of function also allows for a more relaxed activity of the crew without owners and guests being constantly in the way.
As negative as my comments on Al Salami, I'm very positive about this kind of development in the industry. :) :)
