    Hi

i was thinking about buying this boat (my first boat:)

my main objective is to sail in europe (short cruises between countries) France to Italy -> Italy to Greece -> Greece to Israel etc.

do you guys think this boat is a good choice for my objectives?

I am not a sail person, but my good advice would be that she is too small for the objectives. Furthermore, she is not built for such long passages but more for coastal sailing. You may perform such a trip in a similar size boat which is build for deep sea passages, but this will also be very challanging.

Generally regarded as one of the worst sailboats out there. It's neither a sailboat or a motorboat, and performs both roles in a comporomise. It's ideal for short day trips in protected waters, and can get you home fast.

Agree with everything said prior in this thread.
Would certainly recommend you have a look at a Beneteau First series.

There has never been a McGregor made that was worth owning. Walk away, walk away, walk away.

I enjoy both power boats and sail boats having owned several of each. This boat is not good at either. I would not say walk away, I would say run. Run as fast as you can in the other direction and dont look back.
