The Northern Marine company has launched a 46M vessel or 151 feet. The NM website says she is 30 feet 9 inches wide and a draught of 6.6 feet.
    Here are the specs:

Their website mentions a 20-knot cruise and the photos show a bulbous bow.
Does anyone else find this incongruous?

Hi, I read that she is named m/y After Eight. This would proabbly mean that she is the successor to the older and smaller After Eight.

At 151' LOA the waterline is probably around 135' she probably has a natural hull speed of around 15knots if she were a full displacement hull that would be her top so anything over that for a semi-displacement hull just comes at the expense of exponentially increasing power. My hunch says that a bulb is going to be of some benefit in the relm of poss giving her the benefit of just under 1/2 knot increase in speed given the same HP. The only question I would have is did they give her bigger rudders to compensate for the extra hull (the Bulb). It may not seem like much but the added length of the bulb which to me looks like about 12-15' average length is a pretty sizeable percentage of the hull in profile.
