What's your favorite yacht?

In Case of Motoryachts: Amevi (oceAnco), Zoom Zoom Zoom (Trinity), Riva 85' Opera

Sailingyachts: Esense (Wally), Maltese Falcon (Perini Navi), Meteor (Royal Huisman)

At the moment, my favourite is Kismet. A quite stunning yacht and although there are probably others to equal or surpass her, what swings it for me is her interior design and decoration. There seems to be a trend these days to make the interiors of yachts look like New York apartments which takes away the uniqueness of marine design. For me at least, Kismet is a breath of fresh air.

Motoryachts of this season? To be honest. I haven't really been moved by any of them. My input for now would be Como. Balanced design and a very pretty interior.

I really like the rear deck areas of this vessel...it represents a communication with the sea....(rather than a floating condo that tries to max out living space onboard its length)

Favorite Yacht

If, in a perfect world, I had substantially more means (and time) than I do now, the 164' Triton would be about my taste. Beautiful yet not lavish, functional, only thing I would change is put a bit more of a stern on her and accommodate a true fishing boat a la ex-Aussie Rules (Though maybe something a bit smaller, a 28' Carolina Classic maybe). Somehow fishing from a 164' yacht just doesn't seem as satisfying to me. But I don't think I'd want anything quite as large as Aussie Rules/Floridian. Triton seems to be a good mix of size/use.

And perhaps add a minisub as well. Just because.

The Delta Triton is one of my favorite yachts too and as you say, Floridian would be too large. The idea of an explorer style boat should also be to get in at smaller places around the world, not just megayacht marinas...

Pacific Yellowfin

I like the looks of this vessel as well....I guess I'm drawn to more classic looks.

My favorite yacht OF ALL, meaning more than even any large yacht, is the Lazzara 68. I'm not too terribly attracted to ones requiring a crew - boating is a bit of a personal experience for me.

If I were intent on getting a large yacht though, the style of Pelorus fits me nicely.

This is a beautiful ship...well built and maintained.
We went on it at Gibsons BC at a wooden boat festival and she is something else! They do expedition trips with her. A search of her name and I'm sure the website will come up.
