I am looking at spending some big bucks on a boat with twin 16V2000's in it. The motors have 2000 hrs on them and they are 2000yr models. Can anybody offer some info on these motors because I am getting a lot of mixed emotions Thanks in advance!
A very good performance engine, but like all performance engines they need to be maintained as per specified by the builder, I would suggest as part of the buyers survey that you have a factory trained mechanic do a though inspection, Oil samples, boroscope etc........
