FWIW AMG, What do you think of when I say Midsummer on Christmas Eve? It doesn't get much more abscure than that. But I jumped for the bait, none the less.

So, then I post a question about one of the longest running production US built yachts in history, the Hatteras 53 Classic. And in your view that question is too tough. OK. Fair enough. You're a moderator, and you have moderated.

FYI, The answer is: The production run of the 53 Hatteras Classic was from Feb. 1969 to June 1988. http://www.hatterasowners.com/models.htm

    I guess it's your go then~

With all respect, my question I know that a lot of people can answer just from memory. But I doubt anybody in the entire world can answer your question from the top of their heads. My point was not that you should erase it, but that we all should try to find more general trivia questions in the future.

I can start with asking what three hull colors the 86 meter yacht built as Nabila has had under her three owners?

Keeping the subject of Nabilia/Kingdom 5KR...

According to a recent interview to Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, current owner of the yacht, what is the planned lenght of the next "Kingdom 5KR" ..?

Well SeaEric posted the answer, then 2 minutes later I posted it also, so I deleted mine, and then SeaEric did the same...:D

    Well here's my ?

At the launch of Nabila, the owner didn't use a bottle of champagne during christening...

    1: What did he use?
2: What did the owners daughter (Nabila) say when the bottle was flung?

I do read where he used Mecca water instead of champagne. As far as his daughter's comments, I have no answer. I'm sure someone else will remember.

As the yachts namesake and Godmother it was Nabila who flung the bottle of water from Mecca, saying "In the name of God, cut her loose".

I suggest you go ahead SeaEric...

I'm amazed. I thought this was a question that a lot of regular Yacht Forums readers would know the answer to. Well, so much for my effort to encourage more participants.

    Back to you AMG.

The owners are my hero's, both in their 90's and still boating. This boat was equipped with an elevator so all decks can be accessed by wheelchair.
