I read that the new Sunseeker 37 Meter yacht was presented at the London Boat Show. Any good shots of her out there?

I received the press release last week, but it only contained renderings. Will try to get it formatted and uploaded tomorrow.

The first hull of the Sunseeker 37m Tri deck is owned by former F1 Driver Eddie Irvine (Which he will charter!).
This yacht opened the London Boat Show.

No pics from me on this one.

Hi yotphix, love to know where you got these pictures from ? They were taken as she was launched from her slipway for the first time...radar arch obviously not fitted when these pictures were taken by the way:)

Nice hull, but superstructure looks far to bulky for my taste:confused:

Nice looking but it looks a bit top heavy. I wonder how she will be when at anchor as Sunseeker is known not to be the most comfortable at anchor

    :) Bulky(ish) and top-heavy(ish) superstructure....
Two major decisions early on in the project at conceptual stage, were to go for three full, unbroken accommodation decks and also go for wide-bodied / full beam accommodation on the forward main deck. Potential customers have shown extremely keen interest in a Sunseeker with this level of accommodation for quite a few years, 37metres was a size at which the three-deck concept would work well. Unfortunately the interested clientelle are all average height or above, which meant some early concepts that squeezed three decks into a height similar to the 108 Predator were discounted due to the worrying need to cut said clients in half as soon as deposits were banked. Not good for business or practicality, but looked good on cartridge paper rendered with squeaky pens.
Other than initial sea-trials in rather considerate seas, she ran her maiden voyage from Poole to the Thames overnight in some rather more intimidating conditions. Extremely stable between idling and maximum speed, she is also very pleasant at anchor. Partly due to the at-anchor stabilisation system, partly due to a beamy deep-v hard-chine hull.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you codog. And to be honest i don't know the source. They were forwarded through a few people, I think originally from a broker who was trying to stir interest from someone's boss. I wondered about that arch!

    Hi yotphix...its ok, I found the leak:D
Amazing how quick pics get around the net, some good, some not so flattering. Its rare that pics of the birth of a new 374,000 lb baby get out though. There were a few nervous tummys on the dock that morning:)

The Sunseeker website has soem nice flash presented pictures of the first Sunseeker 37M, m/y Snapper.

There is no direct link to the website so just enter the website, click on yachts, and the sunseeker range will come up and then click on the 37M trideck yacht.
