    Hi,
Looking for a hoist replacement of the RULE V60R UNIT.

any info, suggestion would be helpful.
With a new hoist like to install a AMSsteel rope as well, ISO the Stainless Steel cable

thanks in advance for all your help

Have you considered taking the original motor into a regular starter repair facility? That's what I did, problems solved and running still after 5 years.

A whole lot easier than replacing as nothing is a bolt on replacement. Amsteel is a a straight replacement, just be sure to remove any drum or pulley barbs.

    thank you,
I am considering this… as I did not wanted to take the crane apart to confirm what is really making the noise. ( motor bearing or gears.)
Trying to find out if there is a replacement with minor modifications and price, before bringing the winch to a shop.
    Thanks for your info.

You don't have to disassemble the crane to remove the motor, simply disconnect the "shock absorber", lift the crane arm , there's 3-4 bolts holding the motor and two for the 12vdc connection.

If it's still running, unwind the cable first , if not cut it. You're done,

Suggest the second person holding the arm be younger and strong, weights about 80lbs.

I have a fly so I actually tied it off for safety as well.
